A weird thing happens to your nervous system when a flashbang grenade explodes close enough for you to smell it. The higher vestiges of your consciousness evaporate and you suddenly go into slow-motion autopilot. The rational part of your brain knows, knows, that flashbangs are virtually harmless. That their function is to frighten, not injure. But that part of your brain is gone. Base instinct takes over and you're no longer human - just a hairless ape trying to avoid things that go bang.

First, let's start with a Republican moment nobody carried: Ron Paul's speech at the Rally for the Republic over at the Target Center in Minneapolis before 12,000 people. Unlike Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson -- to name two approved RNC speakers -- Ron Paul actually picked up some delegates during the GOP primaries, 29 to be exact, and raised millions of dollars in small individual contributions from thousands of disaffected Americans.

Political Activists Say They Are Not Terrorists

The RNC Welcoming Committee, an "anarchist/anti-authoritarian organizing body" which provided logistical support to individuals protesting RNC08 in St. Paul, gave a rare press conference on the morning of 9/4/08. The organizers of the group says they have maintained a policy of not speaking to the press until now. Group member Celia Kutz says they can no longer remain silent because Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher has targeted the group

"It's become personal" says Kutz.

Eight members of the group have been charged with conspiracy and acts of terrorism.

"There are no terrorists on this stage. There are no terrorists in the Ramsey County Jail," added Kutz

WE INTERRUPT WITH BREAKING NEWS - New Orleans is under MARTIAL LAW. It's a scoop! The Breaking News keeps announcing the anticipation of Hurricane Gustav, without explaining the images which speak the obvious. The National Guard have arrived, and they're not carrying sandbags. The soldiers are sitting in parked Hummers, with assault rifles across their knees.

As if what undid New Orleans and Baghdad was the looting pursuant to Katrina and Shock and Awe. Hurricanes and floodwaters can demolish homes in the wrong neighborhoods. The homes on higher grounds have to fear the looters.

So a curfew has been announced, starting at 9PM tonight, with no set end time. Is that a curfew or Marital Law?

Christianity has been the dominant religion in the United States since the beginning of the 17th century. The tenets of Christianity were brought to America with the English colonists who established Jamestown in 1607. Also, Christianity, even though it was not the official religion of America, was accepted by most of the early colonists. In fact, the Founding Fathers of America's great constitutional republic used the teachings of Jesus Christ as the foundation for the development of the greatest nation in the world. But, since the development of America, there have been many people of different sects and religions that have purposely plotted to destroy America and its Christian heritage.
